Brand collaboration advertisement announcing a special edition Ryobi One-Plus Drill to be sold in Ikea stores. Created in Photoshop.
This project aims to create an advertisement that feels true to both brands while adhering to Ikea’s brand guidelines regarding color and type since the company will be featuring it in its stores. I tried to emulate Ikea’s sense of humor, clean style, and use of white space. After all, it needs to fit in!
The advertisement was created in Photoshop using layer masking and compositing. The resulting image fits specific size constraints and meets resolution requirements.
Pantone colors were converted to a LAB color gamut to preserve the widest visible color spectrum. The brand colors were maintained and eventually converted to a specific printer’s CMYK color profile.
